ING HILL is 300 metres up on the North Pennine fells to the east of Lakeland, situated in the lovely dale of Mallerstang, part of the Upper Eden Valley. There are fine views from the site. It is less than four miles from the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the entrance to Herriot country, with the Lakes only 30 miles or so. Within a short drive can be found attractive pubs, teashops and restaurants. The market town of Kirkby Stephen is some five miles, providing local shopping (including late opening) and a variety of antique and craft shops. Here you will also find the local Tourist Information Centre and be able to reach the station on the famous Settle-Carlisle Line. Horse riding, golf and fishing are all available nearby.

The Barn is set in 2½ acres and includes a large field. Dogs are accepted in ground floor apartments for a small fee and subject to some simple rules and they may be run off the lead in this field. We do not take children or babies.

The accommodation in each Apartment is unusually spacious for two people. There is a good lounge/dining room with colour TV/DVD and micro CD/cassette player.

A bedroom with king size double bed, hanging cupboard and drawer units, the Hayloft having a choice of twin or zip'n'link six foot double. All bedlinen (including non-feather duvets and pillows) and towels are provided free. The kitchens have been recently refitted and include full size cooker, fridge & freezer, microwave and other equipment to Tourist Board standards. For the Hayloft and Stables there is a full bathroom with shower over bath. The Waggonette and Huntsman are provided with super shower in enclosure.

The Apartments are available all year and for short breaks during winter and at short notice in summer. Radiators from a central boiler provide heating. All electricity, heating and linen included in the rent- no hidden extras!
